In the rare event of a manufacturing fault with your diamond ring, be confident that we have you protected.
What is a Diamond Promise?
It’s a comprehensive care plan that starts from the moment you purchase your ring. The Diamond Promise includes the following free services:
6-Month and Yearly Ring Assessment
To honour this commitment, we will ask you to book an appointment in the first six months after your purchase, and annually after that, so that we can assess your ring. At this assessment, a member of our team will be able to recommend care regimes and adjustments.

Sign-Up Requirement
When purchasing your ring, we’ll ask you to sign up by email for streamlined and recorded communication regarding your special purchase.
This allows us to provide you with a detailed care plan for a lifetime of wear and keep a secure record of your assessments, including confirmation of your appointments, records and reporting on any necessary repairs that have been recommended or undertaken.
What if my jewellery needs to be repaired?
Diamond rings need ongoing care and will throughout their lifetime require necessary maintenance. For example, multi stone rings can be susceptible to small stone loss due to smaller claw size and white gold requires rhodium plating to ensure its pristine finish. We have expert jewellers in our workshop who can provide these services.
All repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.
Please note: Rhodium plating will need to occur regularly throughout the lifetime of any white gold ring, and may need to be refreshed every 6 months – 2 years.
What if my ring wasn’t purchased from Fraser Hart?
Even if your diamond ring wasn’t purchased from Fraser Hart, we’re happy to help you maintain its condition and appearance.
With a £30 deposit, our expert jewellers will review your ring and provide advice on cleaning, securing stones, re-modelling, or repairs. You're welcome to bring your item in for a thorough inspection, after which you’ll receive a personalised care plan. If you choose to proceed, your deposit will go towards the cost of any work, and we’ll send it to our workshop for the care and attention it deserves, ensuring it returns to you in impeccable condition. All repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.

Additional Jewellery Insurance
On all Diamond Rings, there is an option to purchase additional Jewellery Insurance at the point of sale. Our Jewellery Insurance gives you the confidence that even if accidents happen, you will be able to rely on your policy to keep one of your most precious items in its best condition.
Our jewellery insurance is provided by Affinity Brokers Limited and includes:

• No Excess
• Worldwide cover
• Repairs covered by insurance are free of charge
Terms and Conditions
1. FREE RESIZING
- One free resizing within 6 months of purchase, provided it is within our standard size range.
- Excludes the addition of sizing beads. If sizing beads are required, charges will apply according to our repairs and services price list.
- Resizing typically takes X to Y days.
2. FREE ENGRAVING
- Complimentary engraving available for diamond rings where the design allows within 6 months of purchase.
- Some ring designs or styles may not be suitable for engraving.
- Engraving may take up to X days
3. FREE RHODIUM PLATING
- The first rhodium plating is free for all white gold diamond rings.
- Any additional rhodium platings will incur charges according to our repairs and services price list.
- The process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
4. FREE JEWELLER'S GRADE POLISH
- Complimentary jeweller’s grade polish is available once within the first 12 months of purchase.
- The polishing process usually takes X to Y days.
5. ADDITIONAL TERMS
Exclusions:
- Offers apply only to diamond rings purchased from us
- Non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions, and not exchangeable for cash.
Service Conditions:
- All services must be requested via our customer service team or in-store.
- Customers are responsible for any shipping costs if the ring needs to be sent to us.
Additional Charges:
Charges apply for any work beyond the complimentary services, such as sizing beads, multiple rhodium platings, or extensive repairs. Refer to our repairs and services pricelist for details.
