The 44GS created a visually recognisable grammar of design for Grand Seiko watches to follow – balancing legibility and light for a beautifully clear and calm dial layout. This GMT timepiece also marks 20 years since the first Grand Seiko GMT – which enables the wearer to tell the time in multiple time zones at once with its GMT hand. This 2022 commemorative piece is powered by the 9S86 Hi-Beat 36,000 Mechanical movement; a sophisticated watchmaking innovation through its precision-controlling mainspring, hairspring, and escapement. Every Grand Seiko features signature high standards of precision, durability and legibility, handcrafted in Japan by Takumi artisans.
