The Mark XX pilot's watch from IWC embodies a minimalist approach, focusing on essential design and technical functionality. It is the successor to the renowned Mark 11, originally developed by IWC in 1948 for the navigators and pilots of the British Royal Air Force.The Mark XX features a robust and corrosion-resistant stainless steel case, measuring 40 millimeters in diameter, with a clean white dial and contrasting black hands. The dial's high contrast, with black numerals and indices, a triangular index at 12 o'clock, and luminescent elements, ensures excellent readability in any lighting condition.Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre, an automatic winding movement that offers a generous power reserve of 120 hours. The front glass is securely fixed to prevent detachment even under sudden pressure drops. With a water resistance of 10 bar, the Mark XX is suitable for various environments.The watch comes with a black calfskin strap, featuring an integrated EasX-CHANGE® system that allows for easy strap exchange without the need for additional tools.
