Continuing our series delving into the style inspiration of our people here at Fraser Hart we catch up with Edith Foley, our Director of Digital. Crafting and selling her own jewellery online from a young age, Edith is truly an ecommerce early adopter so it's little wonder that she's Director of Digital for a premium jewellery company now!
Do you have an early jewellery memory from your childhood?
Way back in my early teens I crafted beaded jewellery which I sold over the internet. This was before the days of proper ecommerce! This sparked a love of jewellery and all things digital.
How would you describe your own jewellery style and what inspires it?
I particularly love gemstones and diamonds. I’ve designed and commissioned a few statement rings as a bit of a hobby – all designed and inspired by the gemstone itself.
What jewellery pieces do you wear every day – do you have any pieces that hold special memories?
I wear my wedding ring every day – it’s a diamond eternity band. I wear my solitaire diamond engagement ring most days but also occasionally switch it out with a coloured gemstone ring for something different! My other sentimental jewellery item is a pair of diamond hoop earrings that were gifted to me by my mother when I was younger.
What are your favourite current trends in jewellery?
I love the yellow gold chunky necklace trend – I have an albert t-bar necklace with a belcher chain that I wear almost every day.
What’s on your Fraser Hart wish list?
I have a few more gold necklaces on my wish list – so I can layer them up! And also these yellow gold earrings for everyday wear.
