At the heart of the PRC 100 Solar is Lightmaster Solar technology. This advanced movement captures both natural and artificial light through the sapphire crystal. Hidden photovoltaic cells convert light into energy, which is stored in a rechargeable accumulator. The result? A watch that doesn’t need battery changes and can run for up to 14 months in the dark on a full charge.
Just 10 minutes of daylight is enough to power the watch for 24 hours, and even indoor lighting is enough to keep it running. It also features an End of Energy (EOE) indicator — when power runs low, the second hand moves in 4-second intervals as a reminder to recharge.
