This new Top Time series marks the debut of Breitling’s first exclusive manufacture time-only movement, the Caliber B31—an automatic designed for precision and performance that was four years in development. Just 4.8 mm thick, the B31 delivers enhanced accuracy while maintaining contemporary proportions. Its unique architecture incorporates Breitling’s signature free-sprung balance wheel for improved precision and a skeletonized bidirectional oscillating weight.

The Top Time B31 blends retro aesthetics with a modern edge. Its dial design takes inspiration from classic-car dashboard clocks, while its 38 mm case strikes a balance between vintage proportions and contemporary design, perfect for any wrist thanks to its universal size.
Three colourways—green, blue, or a two-tone combination of white and sky-blue—pair with either a three-row stainless-steel bracelet or a perforated calfskin strap that gives a nod to vintage racing gloves. Breitling’s unconventional chronograph returns to its racing roots with graphic dials and retro cushion-case designs. The new Top Time Racing debuts in three limited editions of 750 pieces each—two celebrating the thrill of rally and one created in partnership with motorsport legend Martini Racing. The bold subdials and tachymeter evoke the high speeds and adrenaline of the rally route, while its dial design recalls classic-car dashboards. All three watches are powered by Breitling’s flagship chronograph movement, the Manufacture Caliber 01, the gold standard in engineering and craftsmanship.

The Top Time Racing is a descendant of some of the most striking Top Time designs of the 1960s. The cushion-shaped case, bold tachymeter scale, and distinctive “squircle” subdials evoke the high speeds and split-second decisions of the race route. At the heart of the dial is the signature “surfboard” motif—an elliptical design straight out of the Top Time archives, inspired by classic-car dashboards.

Instantly recognizable, the Top Time Martini Racing takes its cues from one of the most celebrated liveries of all time. Its dial is dominated by Martini Racing’s signature blue and red stripes. It features a modern-retro take on the cushion case, squircle subdials, and the unmistakable surfboard dial design. Sized at a sleek 38 mm, it’s paired with a perforated dark blue calfskin leather strap secured by a folding clasp. Beating inside the watch is the Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Caliber 01—a COSC-certified chronometer built for precision under pressure and featuring a 70-hour power reserve. Top Time B01: Honoring Gino Bartali & Fausto Coppi – Cycling Legends
Introduced in the transformative 1960s, Willy Breitling’s unconventional line of racing-inspired chronographs captured the era’s freewheeling vibe. Today, the new Top Time collection channels that adrenaline-fueled energy, blending modern-retro design with cutting-edge performance.
Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali weren’t just champions—they were symbols of sportsmanship. The rivals were Breitling ambassadors at a time when the brand was the official timekeeper for the sport’s greatest races. Their love of cycling and deep respect for one another inspired millions in Italy and around the world.
The Top Time B01 Gino Bartali features a blue dial with yellow accents, inspired by his memorable jersey. The chronograph features Bartali’s nickname on the tachymeter scale: “L’Intramontabile” (The Timeless), while his signature at six o’clock makes the connection even more personal.
The 41 mm chronograph runs on Breitling’s Manufacture Caliber 01, offering COSC-certified precision and a 70-hour power reserve.
